Restoring A SUPRA Boat
One of our current restoration projects is this Supra that looks clean from the outside…..Not so much on the inside. The entire port side stringer set, floor and cross wall supports are rotted out. As the boat is an open bow design, we will need to pull the deck to reach the damaged sections forward of the dash. This will also require the motor, interior and fuel tank be removed.
Removing The Deck From The Hull
We’ll start by removing the rub rail, hull to deck fasteners and the motor. With the deck supported from four points, the deck can be lifted off the hull.
